Today we are announcing three SaVoa Industry affiliates:
VOplanet: is a membership audition site where clients come to find the best VO talent on the planet. Clients can contact and work directly with talent on VOplanet, or they can have the assistance of full-service experienced agents and tech support on-call to help them with their casting needs. ElDorado Recording Services: Have a technical problem? Adding ISDN or Source Connect to your studio? ALL IN ONE VOICE is owned by Robert Sciglimpaglia, Jr., a successful actor, voice over artist and teacher, as well as an attorney admitted in Connecticut and New York. Robert is accredited by SaVoa. 
How can an organization become an affiliate? Your Savoa Advisory board is working out the criteria for coaches and professional products/service providers now. The first three affiliates have been voted in by your Savoa Advisory Board and Board of Directors attesting to their commitment and efforts to support Savoa Members. We will be soon announcing the process whereby other organizations can be nominated for an Affiliate status.
You were reviewed by your peers and judged qualified to be accredited. New folks are coming to SaVoa asking for accreditation and we are having a bit of a problem rounding up folks who will reliably be part of the process. What we are asking of all of our members from time to time is to take 5-7 minuets to listen to demo files from new applicants. Then use the SaVoa evaluation form to make a judgment and evaluation of what you heard in the demo. The criteria has been developed and it's easy to understand. The technical evaluation has already been made when the Peer Review panel gets the performance demo. As you can see from other articles in this newsletter things are happening for the benefit of our membership. At this writing we stand at 118 members. Our membership is from Japan to Australia, Canada, United States, Latin America, United Kingdom, Denmark, Switzerland, Turkey, Lebanon and finally to South Africa. With strength in numbers comes the recognition that SaVoa is The Guild that stands for Professionalism and will give producers a comfort factor when hiring SaVoa members. When you help SaVoa, you help yourself. Can we count on you when we call upon you in the days ahead?

Membership Notice: SaVoa 4 year stimulus program ended September 23, all members of SaVoa that were accredited before then have received a 4 year membership term. It's is not too late for (some) new members to receive a four year membership. VOplanet Members that apply to and are accredited by SaVoa will receive a 4 year term instead of the normal 2 year term now in effect.
SaVoa has a new Board Member - Welcome Rowell Gormon,
The many voices of Rowell Gormon are heard across the country in radio and tv spots, corporate videos, e-learning, animation, and the occasional talking toy. An award-winning audio producer and copywriter during his radio days, RG has worked from his own studio over the past 20 years. During that time, he has made life easier for clients who need anything from a reassuring storyteller, to a believable spokesman, to a quirky character or a wacked-out toon. He's also performed on stage and on camera in commercials and corporate videos, even doing two movies as a “hired hand” with Jim Henson’s Muppets. Many people are lucky to have a "second childhood".
