BEFORE YOU SUBMIT YOUR APPLICATION, please be sure you have read the Accreditation Criteria and that you understand the different aspects of your vocal and technical deliveries which will be evaluated. It is not enough to be familiar with terms like breath support, clipping, speech clarity, mic placement, noise levels and so forth. To achieve accreditation, you will want to be able to exhibit control over these aspects of voiceover production.

We recommend at least two years experience as a voice over artist and a minimum of ten paying jobs before applying for accreditation. If you are confident you meet the accreditation criteria and can comply with SaVoa’s Standards, finish reading this page, then:

Application for Accreditation of Voice Over Artist

*application form requires Adobe Acrobat Reader.

If you do not have a website that provides this information, please also send:

  • A resume of past experience;
  • A brief description of the recording equipment and recording space immediately available to you. A photograph of the space you record in is acceptable.

Once your peer review has been scheduled, you will be notified. At that time, you will also be asked to provide:

  • One or more unslated voice demos for peer review, showcasing your abilities in one or more styles of delivery;
  • Your custom technical demo solely for the technical evaluation, which you will produce using a script and detailed recording instructions to be provided by SaVoa.
  • Your PayPal payment for the accreditation processing fee in the amount of $75.00. Please be reminded that, if you are not approved, you will be refunded 50% of the application fee. (Please see FAQ for additional details).

Your application for peer review is confidential. Your demos must not have your name recorded on it and the filenames will be changed to your candidate ID number so that you are not identified to the reviewers. We maintain this anonymity in the event you do not pass peer review. We urge you to do the same and ask that you not disclose your application for peer review.

If you are approved for accreditation, you will receive an accreditation certificate which expires two years from the date you are approved. Please mark on your application form where indicated which certificate style you prefer:
